The Samaritan House is a local nonprofit seeking to end homelessness in the Flathead Valley. We come alongside residents in a variety of ways, including encouraging their efforts to find employment and housing.
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
Our vision for the Flathead Warming Center is to provide a warm, safe, low barrier facility.
October – April. We are open 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m. nightly, through the winter season.
May – September, we provide shower and laundry services, resource links, and light food. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10:00am -2:00pm during the spring, summer, and early fall months.
Adult & Teen Challenge USA works on a Christ-centered model of drug and alcohol recovery. This means that we are concerned with the body, mind, and spirit of those who come to our addiction recovery centers. We endeavor to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.

We facilitate life-changing transformation based on the Biblical foundations of compassion, integrity, and dependence on God through engaging life stories, inner healing, and intentional prayer ministry.

We carry out this mission by equipping churches to support local foster & adoptive families, and biological families in crisis. By training churches on how to create and lead successful Family Advocacy Ministries (FAMs), we’re working toward seeing every child in a safe and loving family, forever.
We champion foster families. We empower them at each step of their foster journey by providing the training, resources and tools needed to care for a child who has suffered abuse and neglect.
Court Appointed Special Advocates® (CASA) are community volunteers, just like you, who stand up and speak out to help abused and neglected children.
CASA for Kids advocates for abused and neglected children by providing a voice, healing the hurt, and breaking the cycle of abuse in the child’s life.
Braveheart Chaplain Ministry is committed to providing effective, relevant, and timely support services to emergency responders, their families, and citizens in crisis throughout Flathead County.
The Flathead Food Bank strives to eliminate hunger in the Flathead Valley through collaborative partnerships creating effective solutions to connect and strengthen individuals, families and the community through access to healthy nutritious food.
Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.
The HEART Locker is a facility which acts as a “store” to receive donated clothing, hygiene products, bedding, and school supplies. It is only open to students, at NO cost to them. It is open to all students in K-12 and the only rule is to take what you need and use what you take.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. It is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling countless lives.
Our clinical team's treatment is a holistic, evidence-based 12 step program. Our team of therapists has over 44 years of experience in dependency treatment. We also have LCPC, LSCW, and mental health professionals working under these licensed staff work with mental health issues ranging from trauma, anxiety, and depression which often are intertwined with substance and alcohol abuse.
We are Montana’s only statewide food bank. We distribute food from Heron to Wibaux, Eureka to West Yellowstone and everywhere in between. We partner with neighborhood food banks, community pantries, social organizations, homeless shelters, schools and hundreds of other organizations that are all working together to end hunger in Montana. We believe that together we can end hunger in Montana.

This is accomplished through the work of volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates, appointed by a judge to represent a child or group of siblings in foster care and speak up for the children’s best interests.
