Water baptism is an outward declaration of an inward, personal decision to make Jesus Christ the Lord and Redeemer of your life. The Bible teaches that, if you commit your life to Jesus, you should be baptized by immersion, following Jesus’ example (Matthew 3:13-17, Acts 2:38, 41).
